03 TL VR-X, 178000km...purchased last week and went through the first full tank over the weekend with about 30% city driving and 70% from Penrith to Medowie and back via Stockton and Cessnock. 95 RON

The fuel light came on at around the 570km mark.

I'll fill it back up to full today and see what my usual driving means for fuel consumption (probably 100-150km/week, mostly city driving)

Update of sorts on this...been averaging around high 12s/low 13s with anything ranging from 91 (which is what I've got in there at the moment) to 98 ULP. No highway driving or longish trips whilst I had the transmission issues, so was all city/town driving.

My current run is up to about 380km, and the fuel needle is a smudge under 1/4. 91 ULP (and it was filled at a 7/11 so it'll be Mobil).

I bought a bottle of fuel system cleaner earlier on in the week to put in with the next refill to see if it has any effect...will probably stick with 91.
